What makes metal building so cost effective is that the metal roofing and siding don’t require many components for the substructure, thus cutting down on material and labor cost. Metal siding comes pre-finished eliminating the cost for painting the exterior.
A Galvalume roof has a reflective galvanized finish and is cut to custom sizes reducing the number of smaller sheets often used with conventional stick and brick construction. The Galvalume roof should have a 25 year life expectancy and can be extended for more than that with the proper coatings.
